A World on a Plate: Lyceum No. 28 Hosts a Feast of Unity and Flavor

On 29 October, the Lyceum of Information Technologies No. 28 was alive with the sounds of pans, laughter, and music during its "Tastes of the World" festival. For students from group 206 of the Faculty of Foreign Students, it was more than a culinary event - it was a vibrant celebration of culture and connection.

The lyceum became a global village. Tables overflowed with the flavors of China, Mexico, India, Germany, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Hawaii, the Caucasus, and Kamchatka. The heart of the festival beat especially strong at the Indian table, where international students served homemade delights like carrot halva and coconut ladue candies, sharing not just food but tradition.

But this was a feast for all senses. Each presentation was paired with a song or dance, transforming the space into a stage of shared joy. The air was filled with the warmth of new friendships being made over shared plates and rhythmic applause.

Held in a spirit of joyful cooperation, the festival beautifully proved how a simple meal can bring a world of people together. Special thanks go to the university’s partner, Magendra Group, for helping make this memorable celebration possible.
