Do not confuse it with health insurance, these are different documents!

 

WHY DO YOU NEED SNILS? 

1. To activate and use an account on the
“Gosuslugi” portal, where you can:
- submit documents for recognition of education;
- make an appointment with the migration service;
- apply for a temporary residence permit/residence
permit;
- receive other electronic services;
2. For official employment.
3. NEW! To apply for and use a SIM card.

 

WHAT IS NEEDED TO OBTAIN SNILS? 

1. Passport and its notarized translation. The names in the visa and the translation must be identical!
2. Registration and migration card.
3. A valid email (@yandex.ru, @mail.ru).

 

HOW TO APPLY FOR SNILS? 

With the above-listed documents, visit one of the
miltifunctional centres:
      *Karl Marx St., 54
      *Oktyabrsky Prospekt, 117
OR the "Social Fund of Russia" at the address Komsomolskaya St., 34.
