Foreign students have an opportunity to get quotas to study in Russian universities. 

     The task of increasing at least twice the number of foreign residents studying at Russian universities was set by the President of the Russian Federation. Within the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 18, 2020 No. 2150 "On the establishment of quotas for the education of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation", starting from 2023, 30 thousand foreign citizens will be able to receive higher education annually.

     To enroll in a budget place, a foreign candidate has to do the following:

*register on the Education in Russia website, having previously filled out an application form for training within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation;

*wait for an invitation to participate in qualifying exams in the country of residence;

*find yourself on the website in the list of candidates recommended for the second stage of selection;

*wait for the opening of access to the personal account on the portal (the notification will be sent by e-mail);

*track the status of the application in your personal account.
