Indian Lullaby for Mothers: Kirov Medical Students Win Hearts at "Women of Russia" Festival

Marking the International Day of Women's Happiness, the first open song festival "Women of Russia - Melody of the Soul" was successfully held at the "Yantar" Regional Center in Kirovo-Chepetsk. The event was founded by the Women's Union of the Kirov Region with the support of key cultural institutions.

Kirov State Medical University was proudly represented by a delegation, which included second-year students of the Faculty for Foreign Students: Khandge Om Hrushikesh, Chavan Sakshi Rahul and Gudekar Hardik Subodh. The students delivered a poignant performance of the Marathi lullaby "Ekti ekti ghabarlis na," moving the audience with its theme of maternal love and loneliness.

The professional jury highly appreciated the performance, awarding our students 3rd place laureate in the nomination "Dedicated to Women."

The University administration expresses its gratitude to the Women's Union of Russia and the "Yantar" Center for their excellent organization and for fostering an environment of meaningful cultural dialogue.
