On September 24, 2024, the delegation of Kirov State Medical University, which included the head of the Department of International Affairs E.V. Sharapova, the head of the Department for Coordination of International Activities J.N. Ovsyannikova and students of our university from Russia and Nigeria, took part in the opening of the Friendship Club on the basis of Vyatka State Agrotechnological University.
As part of the event, Kirov State Medical University presented an ambitious project – a summer school for schoolchildren and students from Nigeria, which will be held on the basis of three leading universities in Kirov. The project is designed to deepen cultural exchange between our countries, to give Nigerian students the opportunity to get acquainted with the Russian education system and scientific achievements.
As E.V. Sharapova notes, the summer school will be an excellent platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between the youth of the two countries.
