In 1998, V.M. Rusinov was directly involved in the creation of the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Advanced Medical Training, which subsequently became a methodological center for practical training of surgeons and postgraduate retraining of doctors for Kirov region and other regions of Russia. Internship at the Hanover Higher Medical School (Germany)

V.M. Rusinov performs all complex surgical operations at the department, which is based on the first surgical department of the Kirov Regional Clinical Hospital. 

Author of more than 140 scientific and educational works in central and regional journals, co-author of two monographs, deals with the problem of focal lesions of the liver involving its main vessels and inferior vena cava. Repeatedly represents Kirov State Medical University and Kirov Regional Clinical Hospital with scientific reports at international and Russian congresses. 

V.M. Rusinov is a surgeon of the highest qualification, the member of the Association of Hepatological Surgeons of the CIS countries, the distinguished health worke, the veteran of labor since 2017, the honored doctor of the Russian Federation (since 2023).
