Cardiovascular surgeon

P.G. Onuchin is engaged in extensive medical work as a surgeon, cardiovascular surgeon in the inpatient department of the Family Clinic branch of  Veris LLC, the clinic of the Kirovskaya GMA of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, where he examines patients, performs more than 200 operations per year, consults and operates patients in medical institutions in Kirov and . In the Department of Vascular Surgery of the Kirov Regional Hospital, the clinic of the Kirov SMU of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation mastered and implemented methods of ultrasound examination of patients with pathology of veins and arteries; operations: femoral-popliteal bypass/prosthetics without vein reversion, endoscopic subfascial ligation of communicating veins, autovenous prosthetics of the femoral vein, laser obliteration of subcutaneous veins, arterialisation of the venous bed, mini-phlebectomy (cosmetic phlebectomy according to Muller), endovasal angioplasty with stenting of the main veins, new methods of conservative therapy of acute venous thrombosis, including thrombolysis by urokinase, thrombovasim, angioplasty and stenting of the main veins. Currently, one of the priority areas of surgical activity is the widespread introduction of minimally invasive methods of treatment of patients with venous pathology in Kirov region.  

Member of the Russian Society of Angiologists and Vascular Surgeons, member of the All-Russian Society of the Association of Phlebologists of Russia, member of the International Society of Angiologists, Association of Angiologists, Phlebologists and Vascular Surgeons, National College of Phlebologists. 

Author of 157 publications in the central and foreign press; the results were reported at 18 International and All-USSR conferences, congresses and symposiums. He is the author of the monograph "Diabetic foot syndrome", 8 teaching aids for students of medical universities. P.G.Onuchin has two copyright certificates of invention.
