The Department of Pharmacology at Kirov State Medical University hosted thematic events for 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Foreign Students, dedicated to World Heart Day.

      The meeting opened with an introductory session in which students learned about the history and traditions of World Heart Day. The future physicians watched an educational video on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Particular attention was drawn to key risk factors and dangerous symptoms requiring immediate medical intervention, including high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

      The creative highlight of the event was the presentation of posters prepared by the students themselves. Students of group 308i presented a deeply personal project, complementing their visuals with symbolic pledges to take care of their own health and protect their hearts. Students of group 305i dedicated their work to a strictly medical theme, clearly illustrating the main threats to the cardiovascular system and effective disease prevention measures. The World Heart Day events helped future specialists gain a deeper awareness of the importance of caring for their bodies and master basic preventive principles they will be able to share with their future patients.
