International Students Take Part in Children's Associations Day

"City of Opportunities" Opens on Theatre Square in Kirov: Medical University Students Introduce Schoolchildren to the Cultures of India, Egypt, and Bangladesh

On 19 May, Kirov region celebrated a new regional holiday for the first time - Children's Associations Day, established by decree of Governor of Kirov region. The main venue for the celebration was Theatre Square, which hosted the large-scale festival "City of Opportunities."

Governor Alexander Sokolov personally congratulated the young residents of Kirov on this memorable date, noting that the region became the first in the country to establish such a holiday.

One of the most vibrant interactive zones was the Diplomacy and International Relations Quarter. There, activists from the International Friendship Club of Kirov Region representing Kirov State Medical University, showcased the cultures of three countries: Bangladesh, India and Egypt.

The students told schoolchildren about the traditions of their home countries and organized a true masterclass in foreign vocabulary. Young visitors to the festival learned to pronounce and write words in Bengali, Arabic, and Hindi, and also enthusiastically drew the national flags of these distant nations.

Friendship, mutual support, and respect for the cultures of different peoples remain the core values of the modern youth of Vyatka.
