On 23rd of September, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Russian Federation, Mohamed Yongavo, together with the Director of Kirov Fire and Rescue Law Police College, I.M. Sharipov, paid an official visit to Kirov State Medical University.

      The guests met with the acting rector of the University E.N. Kasatkin and head of the Department of International Affairs E.V. Sharapova to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the field of higher education and healthcare.

      The program of the visit also included excursions to some departments of the university. Mr. Ambassador noted the high level of technical equipment of the Multi-profile Accreditation and Simulation Center and admired the wealth of exhibits and preparations of our anatomical museum, and wrote in the wish book: "I got great pleasure from visiting Kirov State Medical University. I wish future students from Sierra Leone to build a successful medical career at this university."

      We hope to establish fruitful cooperation with the Republic of Sierra Leone in the fields of higher education and healthcare!
