Education: Kyrgyz State Medical Institute (1975-1979), clinical residency in  Kyrgyz Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology, resident doctor of the department of abdominal oncology, postgraduate education in the Soviet Cancer Research Centre (1983-1986), the course of operative surgery and topographic anatomy of the Kirov State Medical University (1990). 
Since 1992, Mikhail Yuryevich has been working at the course, then at the Department of Oncology as an assistant. Since 1999  he is Associate Professor of the Department of Oncology.
