In the lead-up to the 23 February holiday, a series of talks dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day was held in the library reading room for students of the Faculty of Foreign Students.

      Library staff member E. Y. Kalsina shared with the students stories about famous military commanders who left a significant mark on Russian history, discussed the city of Kirov and its residents during the Great Patriotic War, spoke about the establishment of evacuation hospitals in the Kirov Region, and highlighted the heroism of Soviet medical workers during WWII.

     In addition, a book exhibition dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day was arranged in the reading room. Everyone interested in the history of our homeland's glorious victories is welcome to visit the exhibition!
