On 1 December, Kirov State Medical University's newest international students were welcomed with a special celebration, hosted by the Magendra Group in the House of People`s Friendship.
The evening began with a warm and inspiring address from the University Rector, L.M. Zheleznov, who was joined by representatives from the administration and faculty, all present to greet the incoming batch.
To help the newcomers feel at home, second-year students put on vibrant creative performances, sharing their spirit and solidarity. The highlight of the event was the solemn Oath of a Medical University Student, a meaningful tradition in which the freshmen took part, marking their formal entry into their medical studies.
More than just a festive gathering, this event served as a vital step in helping international students adapt to their new environment, strengthening their sense of belonging and the collective spirit of the university community.
