On 20 April, chess players of different nationalities competed in the II International Chess Tournament "Cup of the House of Friendship of Peoples". The tournament was held with the support of the Kirov Region Chess Federation.
      The main purpose of the event is to strengthen the all-Russian civic identity and unity of the multinational people of the Russian Federation.
      The following participants took part in the tournament: national cultural association "The Future of Russia", "Jewish National Cultural Autonomy of the city of Kirov, Kirov region"; Kirov regional public organization of compatriots from Tajikistan; Veteran organization "Electroprivod"; Azerbaijani Cultural Center "Birlik"; Chess and draughts Club "Avitek"; Students of Vyatka State Agrotechnological University and Kirov State Medical University, representatives of India, Bahram, Egypt, Bangladesh, as well as residents of the city of Kirov. 
      Among international students, the winners are: I place - Abdelgawad Mahmoud (Egypt); II place - Islam MD Ariful (Bangladesh); III place - Pathak Nilanshu (India).
