International students of Kirov State Medical University presented their research at a scientific and practical conference at Pern State Medical University named after Academician E. A. Wagner.

The event was held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation in the thematic initiative "The Third Semester" within the framework of the scientific session of the Perm State Medical University.

The English section provided a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience. The students presented the results of their scientific work, revealed interesting clinical cases and received valuable comments from the expert jury, which included practicing doctors and professors from Russian universities.

4th year student Hamid Ahmed Salah Ismail Salem (scientific supervisor A.A. Galkin) spoke online and presented the results of a study on various aspects of aspirin use.

Of the many submitted works, 16 of the best were selected for face-to-face performance. These included the work of 5th-year student Islam MD Ariful (scientific supervisor E.V. Noskova), which was devoted to improving the effectiveness of detecting ischemia through comparative analysis of 15- and 12-tap ECG for differential diagnosis and prognosis. The performance was highly appreciated and was awarded with a third degree diploma.
