The scientific and educational school "Fundamental Sciences - Medicine" was held at the end of January. It was organised on the basis of the Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University. Students of the 2nd and 6th courses of the specialty "Medical Biochemistry" Anastasia Lobanova and Vadim Tupitsyn participated in the winter school in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the universities.

     The training took place at the Scientific Research Center for Molecular Genetic and Biotechnological Research, where students visited 3 departments: cellular technologies, molecular genetic research, histology and pathomorphology. The educational program included lectures and practical classes in biology, histology, and pharmacology, during which students studied these disciplines in depth from the point of view of scientific research.

     The scientific and educational school provided an opportunity to learn new techniques and gain practical skills in working with laboratory animals while conducting scientific research. Special attention was paid to the production of histological preparations as one of the final stages of work with biomodels.
