During the holidays, foreign students of our university gathered at the site of the Peoples' Friendship House to celebrate the New Year together, a holiday that unites people from all continents. The event was organised by the student activists of the Faculty of Foreign Students. Colourful garlands, an ornately decorated stage, and a sparkling Christmas tree created a festive atmosphere.

      Vice Rector for Educational and Social Work E.P. Yelsukova, Head of the Department of International Relations E.V. Sharapova, staff of the Department for Coordination of International Activities and the Faculty of Foreign Students congratulated all those present on the new year 2025.

      A large concert program was presented to the audience. Students of different nationalities performed on the same stage, demonstrating the cultural traditions of their countries. The holiday was not complete without the New Year's fairy-tale characters Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, who treated everyone to sweets and held exciting contests. The evening ended with an incendiary ethnic disco. This event allowed us to plunge into the unforgettable atmosphere of the New Year and student fraternity.
