On 6th of December, the head of the Department of Life Safety and Disaster Medicine E.N. Kasatkin, senior lecturer E.A. Cheblukova, Associate Professor N.E. Kirichenko organised a quiz for foreign students on the prevention of HIV infection and sexually transmitted infections. The event was hosted by employees of the Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS at the Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital.

      The main rounds of the quiz included questions about transmission routes, methods of diagnosis and prevention, signs and consequences of diseases. The teams fought for the first place answering questions about the risks of HIV infection in different situations, diagnostic features and myths about HIV and STDs. The language barrier did not become an obstacle, the students answered questions with interest and actively worked in teams.

      The knowledge gained during the game will be useful for future doctors in practice and in their personal lives. The winners received commemorative prizes with the symbols of World AIDS Day.
