On the last day of winter, Festival of National Cultures gathered students from Kirov universities who came from different parts of our planet

 

     The participants of the festival, representatives of different nationalities, prepared an exciting program for the guests, thanks to which each visitor could get to know the traditions and culture of the represented peoples better.

 

   

       The event was opened by Acting Rector of Kirov State Medical University Leo Mikhaylovich Zheleznov. He noted that our university is not only an educational environment, but also an international platform that unites students from 39 countries of the world and most subjects of the Russian Federation. Leo Mikhailovich stressed that the Festival of National Cultures is a great opportunity to vividly, cheerfully and amicably celebrate the beginning of calendar spring.

 

 

 

      The program of the cultural event included master classes, presentations of their native countries, tasting of the cuisine of national cultures, as well as a colourful festive concert.The concert program included bright performances of creative teams and soloists representing their countries. Energetic dancing, folk and bard songs, reading lyrical poems – all this was enjoyed by the admiring audience.

 

 

 

    

 

 

      It should be noted that the Festival was held in the run-up to of the largest international youth event – the World Youth Festival, which is held on the federal territory of Sirius (Sochi) from 1st to 7th March.
