1st-year students finally received the student`s ID cards and credit books, the official documents confirming the status of the student of Kirov State Medical University

      During the week, 1st-year students were invited to the dean`s office of the Faculty of Foreign Students to receive their ID cards and credit books. 

      A student ID card is an identification document that confirms the status of a student. The student ID card contains the main personal data of the student, including first and last names, patronymic, year of birth, photo and date of issue. It provides various privileges to students, such as discounts in the shops, museums, theatres; visits to student dormitories and access to various educational and sports events.

      A credit book (zachot book) is a document that reflects a student's academic achievements. It is a kind of student's academic passport. The credit book notes the exams, grades and credits for each discipline of the educational program. It may also contain completed course projects or works, information about practical training and other educational activities. A credit book is a document necessary for admission to the next level of education, for employment or for obtaining academic scholarships.

      The dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Irina Genadyevna Suetina, greeted the students and wished them successful and interesting studies throughout teh whole education period.
