PhD thesis "Variant anatomy of the hyoid bone and the possibilities of its application in the identification of personality" in which she developed methods of identification of a person by the hyoid bone of applied importance (in the Department of Anthropology of the RCSM of the Russian Federation, Moscow). She has given oral and poster presentations on the topic of her dissertation at international congresses of the German and Japanese Society of Forensic Medical Experts: Innsbruck (2006), Mainz (2007), Bratislava (2008), Frankfurt am Main (2011), Freiburg (2012), Fukuoka (2014), Heringsdorf (2014), Leipzig (2015), Halle (2019). Lectured on hyoid bone anatomy at the University of Duisburg-Essen (2013, Germany).
Member of the Scientific Medical Society of Anatomists, Histologists and Embryologists of the Russian Federation.
For many years of conscientious work, N.L. Maltseva was awarded the Diploma of Kirov State Medical University, the Diploma of the Ministry of Health of the Kirov region, the Diploma of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the badge "Excellent Health Worker".
