The following disciplines are taught at the department:
Histology, embryology, cytology - for students majoring in 31.05.01 "General Medicine", 31.05.02 "Pediatrics" and 31.05.01 "General Medicine (English medium)"
Histology, embryology, cytology - histology of the oral cavity - to students majoring in 31.05.03 "Dentistry"
Morphology: human anatomy, histology and cytology. Module histology and cytology - for students majoring in 30.05.01 "Medical Biochemistry".
In recent years, the intermedoiate assessment is carried out in three stages at the department:
Stage. Computer test control. The multi-level computer test control includes 500 test tasks. At the same time, the student is asked to find a solution for 50 tasks generated "ex tempore" using software;
Practical skills testing (microscopy with the diagnosis of two histological preparations);
Traditional oral exam at which the student answers three theoretical questions, conducts a detailed interpretation of one electronogram and one scheme on human embryology.
The three-stage transferable examination in histology, embryology and cytology in the second year of medical universities is highly effective and allows you to objectively check the completeness of students' assimilation of the material passed throughout the course of the discipline being studied.
