A student of Kirov State Medical University took part in the international summer school "Leadership Week 2024" in Samarkand

      Last week, Ilya Knyazhev, a 4th-year student of our university, took part in the international summer school "Leadership Week 2024", organised by the Samarkand State Medical University. This significant event brought together about 50 students from medical schools in Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

 

 

      As part of the program, the participants got acquainted with Samarkand State Medical University, visited its museum and simulation center. In addition, they presented their universities, made presentations, took part in sports competitions and the brain ring intellectual competition.

 

 

      Special attention was paid to a lecture by the rector of the Samarkand State Medical University, Professor J.A. Rizaev, on the topic "What is success?". His speech inspired the participants to new achievements and helped to take a fresh look at the process of becoming a successful leader.

      As part of the excursion program, the students visited the main attractions of Samarkand: Registan Square, the Meros paper factory, the Eternal City, the Ulugbek Observatory and other cultural sites. This trip was a unique opportunity for students to make new friends, exchange opinions and experiences, as well as deepen their knowledge about the culture and history of the city of Samarkand.

 

 

      Participation in the summer school provided students with valuable experience and new experiences that will definitely contribute to their further professional and personal growth.
