During this academic year, Kirov State Medical University hosted filming of the career-guidance program "PROFIMED". 

      On 7th of May, there was the last talk-show devoted to the topic "How are you? Peculiarities of pediatric care abroad". Before the official part started, foreign students from Egypt, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan organised an interactive platform for the school students and introduced them to the features of medical education in their countries. 

      The official part with the talk-show was moderated by the Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases Olga Lyubezhnova. Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics Irina Suetina; 5th year student of the Faculty of Foreign Students Fares Mahmoud Maher Saber; 1st year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics Abomo Tsala Helen Clara. The talk was devoted to the specifics of the organisation of pediatric and emergency care in the Congo and Egypt, shared their experience in choosing a profession and university, and answered questions of interest to future applicants.

      The project "PROFIMED" was filmed during the 2023-2024 academic year and hosted 5 conferences. More than 350 high school students from Kirov and Kirov region, students of the Preparatory Education and partner school took part in the program during the year.
