4th year students of the Faculty of Foreign Students under the guidance of the Department of Ophthalmology visited the clinical and diagnostic department of the Kirov Clinical Ophthalmological Hospital.

      The students got acquainted with the latest high-precision devices: optical coherence tomograph, keratotopograph, ultrasound biometer; learned how to perform accurate calculations of the optical strength of intraocular lenses implanted after cataract extraction, and tried to diagnose each other.

      The excursion allowed the students to expand their knowledge in the field of ophthalmology and showed how important it is to obtain the skills of modern diagnostics in order to achieve high treatment results.
