International activity

In 2019, students from Kirov SMU participated in foreign internships in 11 countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Thailand, Greece, Latvia, Hungary, Malta, Macedonia, Croatia, and Belarus.

In exchange, Kirov SMU welcomed international students from Belarus, Mexico and Slovenia for annual summer internship.

Kirov SMU has 16 bilateral agreements on long-term international collaboration with foreign universities and research organizations in the field of Education and Science from Uzbekistan, Belarus, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.

Our University received more than 200 Grants for participation in international educational programs, seminars and schools in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, and France.

Each year, up to 16 international scientific and educational seminars, conferences and other events are held at Kirov SMU. 14 foreign specialists and professors from the USA, Great Britain, Finland, Israel, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Estonia and Kazakhstan took part in scientific events in our University.

Annually research and teaching staff of Kirov SMU visit foreign partner universities with lectures, presentations, master classes. In 2018, 5 Kirov SMU professors participated in educational programs in Belarus, Uzbekistan, Taiwan, Austria, and India.

The list of students’ nationalities is annually updated. In 2019 Kirov SMU totals the number of 27 countries: Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Sudan, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Egypt, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Ivory Coast, Moldova, Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, Guatemala, Haiti, Iraq, Botswana, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Algeria.
