Regional Student Ball

On 25 January 2015, on the Russian Student Day, the VIII regional student ball took place in Kirov.

The ball is held annually and gathers students, administration of educational institutions and government representatives. This time it was held in the Drama Theatre. 240 students from 10 universities and 28 organizations of professional educations became the participants of the event.

The following students represented the Academy at the ball:

Fedyashina Ekaterina (2^nd year, the Faculty of Pediatrics), Vavilov Alexander (5^th year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Ivanova Anastasia (2^nd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Maslov Evgenij (4^th year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Khodyreva Dariya (2nd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Naumov Vladislav (2^nd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Orekhova Anastasia (3^rd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Skochilov Kirill (3^rd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Kvasova Natalya (5^th year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Khodyrev Alexander (5^th year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Gobova Lada (3^rd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Korotkih Sergey (5^th year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Kuklina Alina (3^rd year, the Faculty of Stomatology), Ogibalov Alexander (3^rd year, the Faculty of Stomatology), Garifova Ulyana (3^rd year, the Faculty of General Medicine), Nasibullin Ramil (4^th year, the Faculty of General Medicine).

Each of the students has excelled in some sphere: scientific or social work, arts and culture, sports and others.

2016 has been declared the year of Russian cinema in Russia that is why Russian cinematography and its musical masterpieces became the theme of the ball.

The ball was peculiar for its mass staged dances performed by the participants. Every dance represented a period and style of that period.

The event was organized by the department of youth policy of the Ministry of Education of Kirov Region and the Regional Youth Palace.
